The Origin of Oplinx
Oplinx began long before it had a name. It began at the convergence of two distinct paths that, unknowingly, were destined to meet.
Osany Marlon Palacios, born in 1993, built his path from entrepreneurship. His education was not traditional, but practical. Brick-and-mortar businesses, e-commerce, digital marketing. Projects that were not always perfect, but that gave him something more valuable than immediate success: vision, analysis, and resilience. From a very young age, he developed a mindset geared toward detecting opportunities where others only saw saturation. Observing the skincare market in Spain, he identified something that bothered him: products existed, but there was a lack of depth. There was a lack of real specialization, a lack of a brand that thought about children, young people, adults, and seniors from a coherent and accessible structure. He didn't want to create "just another brand." He wanted to build something with intention and projection.
Claudiá Colomina Guitart, born in 1991, was on a completely different but complementary path. With a pharmaceutical background and experience in community pharmacy, her career was marked by technical rigor and direct contact with the real needs of the customer. She knew formulation, regulations, and validation. She understood skin from chemistry and from daily practice. Where Osany saw strategic opportunity, she saw technical feasibility. Where one imagined expansion, the other measured structure.
They met years ago, in a professional environment linked to developments between Spain and Cuba. It was not an immediate connection around cosmetics, but around something deeper: mindset. Both shared a constant drive to move forward, learn, and build. They saw in each other a capacity for growth that was not common. It wasn't just about ambition; it was discipline, it was nonconformity.
For a time, the idea of creating something together floated without definite form. Conversations about the market, about opportunities, about what was missing and what could be done better. Until the decision point came. Osany took the initiative to transform intuition into action. Not from improvisation, but from a clear conviction: if the market did not offer a specialized, structured, and ambitious proposal in this niche, it had to be built.
Claudiá not only supported the idea; she grounded it. She provided the pharmaceutical basis, the technical criteria, and the necessary structure for the vision to be more than just talk. What began as a strategic observation became a real project when both understood that their complementarity was their true strength. Drive and prudence. Risk and validation. Ambition and structure.
The initial investment was their own. Without major external backing or consolidated structures. Only conviction, analysis, and the decision to take the risk. In 2024, that decision took a definitive name and form: Oplinx.
That's where the founders' story ceases to be just intention and becomes a brand. That's where the project officially begins. And it is at that point where this first stage ends: the exact moment when two personal trajectories are transformed into a shared vision and give birth to Oplinx.
